Surely a good addition for an old G4, as the 9800 pro (275 euros) requires a G5, and the 9600 Pro is compatible with Core Image and Quartz 2D Extreme (for an incredible boost in display). Finally the 9600 Pro is able to operate with the Apple 30" LCD display.
