| 16-05-07 / 00:09 : CodeWeavers Crossover 6.1 (cjed) | Macnn reported that a new version of CodeWeavers Crossover, 6.1, brings better support for 3D (more compatible games, and notably Call of Duty 2) as well as higher speed (better framerate). In the videos at the editor site we could still see Half Life 2 playing in version 6.0, but with a non optimal framerate. The virtualization software is priced 60$, that is a good alternative to buying Windows and rebooting through BootCamp, as it doesn't require any Windows installation.
Moreover Windows applications integration is full (containers are OSX windows, the Dock is managed, as pasteboard between OSX and Windows applications), and there isn't any security risk.
