| The free use licence for H264 codec has been extended by the MPEG LA until late 2015, for freely provided videos. This should then help HTML5 video tag spread in blogs, social sites and companies sites (sites that sell video content still own purchased licence). Thus, Adobe's recent decision to (finally) optimize Flash on OSX seems logical. |
