 IMG announced an upcoming ultimate CPU upgrade for G4 MDD : the Encore/MDX G4 Duet from Sonnet includes G4 Dual for 500$ (2*1,6 Ghz) and 600$ (2*1,8 Ghz). For a bit more there is the imac (flat screen, better videocard) but the Sonnet card is able to operate under MacOS9, that is the faster mac ever on it. |
