| 17-05-08 / 14:49 : Imac 3.06 Ghz review (cjed) | Macgeneration provides a full review of the new imac 3.06Ghz. As expected, it is as powerfull as a quad MacPro for most (non pro) applications, and isn't anymore limited in games (great performances in Windows with recent games).
I had the same thought 5 years ago when I choosed a single 1,25Ghz G4 MDD over dual 1,25 (was 500 euros more expensive, from a 1400 euros base price). It however would have been useful for audio softwares (samplers, plugins), but I didn't use these at this time, and in another area most games didn't benefit from the second processor. | | | Comments | | Write a comment | |
