The challenge was high, and even if the result isn't of the same impact than the first album, there is some excellent new songs here (Spider's Web, Thank You Stars), some pretty good (Nine Million Bicycles, Piece By Piece, Shy Boy), and the famous arrangement of Cure's Just Like Heaven. Without any surprise, the new titles that were included on the live DVD belong to the best. | | | Comments | Cet opus est aussi bon que le premier ! Excellentes musiques bluesy/jazzy à souhait (sans jamais tomber dans la faute de goût "country" comme Norah Jones), et surtout la voix de Katie qui fait toujours merveille.
(submitted at 10-12-05, 13:05 by ) | La country c'est pas mon truc non plus, le seul style auquel j'accroche pas. Même les morceaux de l'album qui sont pas des "hits" sont finalement sympas en musique d'ambiance, c'est léger, pas agressif, pas soulant.
