| 26-03-07 / 00:37 : Kurzweil PC3 (cjed) |  Kurzweil presented the PC3, that onboards complete sounds rom from the PC2, the famous Triple Strike Grand Piano, Orchestral and Classic Keys roms, a new Strings rom (ensembles and separate sections), KB3 mode (organ simulation) as well as new sounds : basses, guitars, drums, synths (2 extension slots are available). The multi-effects is derived from the KSP8 and a sequencer and arppegiator are included. It manages sound up to 24 bits/192 Khz and allows 128 voices polyphony. Kurzweil states that contrary to other manufacturers, they design their own ASIC, so theses are specialized and more powerful at a same rom size basis.
