23-11-07 / 23:25 : Leopard : no more Classic (cjed) | As stated by Apple, Leopard doesn't include the Classic environment anymore, on both Intel and PowerPC macs. Then we have to boot on OS9 (for macs up to MDD G4 MDD included) or to use SheepShaver, that in fact makes native calls on PowerPC machines (G5 included). On Intel macs it emulates a G4 with Altivec (but without MMU) and offers 1/8 of the Intel processor frequency relative performance. | | Comments | Write a comment | |
