| MOTU announced Ethno Instrument Version 2, an evolution (forward compatible with first version) that brings samples size to 21 Gb (from 8 Gb). New instruments include taiko drums, large African drums, thirty new instruments from India, hundreds of urban India loops (in they style of Slumdog Millionaire), Balkanish voices, Arabic voices, Persian voices, an extensive new collection of gongs and bells, extended cymbalum… Microtuning presets can be applied to any instrument. Moreover the UVI engine is now 64 bits and is compatible with Snow Leopard. It will be priced 395$, and an upgrade path will be provided for Ethno 1 owners. |
