| 19-01-07 / 00:26 : NAMM : Korg M3 (cjed) |  Korg unveiled the M3, derived from the OASYS and KARMA (it has nothing to do with the old M3-R expander of the M1, a one oscillator per voice version of the M1, while the later and the M1-R expander offered two per voice). The M3 is the response to Yamaha Motif XS (also declined in three keyboards versions) but it only includes 256 Mo of ROM (towards 355 Mo), 64 Mo of RAM (expandable to 320 Mo, 1 Go max on the Motif XS), 120 voices polyphony (128 on the XS), 2 tones max per voice (up to 8 on the XS).
The display is of touch-screen type, and the price is unknown yet, so finally it can't be compared rigth with the Motif XS. No demos available yet. | | | Comments | Tu aurais pu préciser l'air de famille avec le Radias (dont les fonctions ont l'air d'être incluses d'ailleurs), à savoir un expandeur posé sur le clavier. Korg semble donc persister dans le principe du 2 en 1, mais cela se ressentira surement sur le prix, sauf si on a déjà un clavier avec joystick et ruban. Ca a l'air alléchant en tout cas :)
(submitted at 01-19-07, 11:17 by ) | Oui j'ai d'ailleurs vérifié si c'était pas un fake lorsque k'ai vu l'info sur un seul site avant de le voir sur le site Korg, j'ai recherché alors dans les news et j'ai vu que la photo était pas la même que celle du Radias :) Je savais pas qu'on pouvait ôter la partie supérieure, même si je me posais la question en regardant la photo.
