 Propellerhead presents Reason Electric Bass, a refill that provides 24bits samples (also available in 16bits format for less powerful configurations) of various bass : Fender Jazz Bass, Fender Precision Bass, Gibson EB-0, Gibson Les Paul, Kay Hollowbody, Music Man StingRay 5 and Rickenbacker 4001. Many mics positions are provided.It is expected late May and audio examples are available : the basses seem more usable (round when needed, and more various) than these from Ministry of Rock, and even than those from Roland SRJV10 (in that area Yamaha is still the best in its synths, with Roland catching up with its latests Fantom G - hopefully as up to now I never found better than my D20 bass). We can download a limited demo version (30Mb, only Fender Precision Bass samples - played finger or pick -, on only one octave and with limited mic positions). |
