| IGN provides an interview of Ron Gilbert, creator of SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion), the virtual machine used by LucasArts for Maniac Mansion and their following adventure games. It has been programmed in assembly on C64, and an expert in compilers helped to do the job. There has been ScumVM on OSX for some years and on most game platforms. |
