13-02-07 / 23:28 : WWDC 2006 Leopard sessions downloadable (cjed) | Apple provides since january videos from the WWDC 2006 (new features of Leopard), through its new content heading on iTunes, ADC on iTunes. An ADC account is required, but the first level (ADC Online) is free. Once registered iTunes launches and lists these 3 sessions : Session 000 - Mac OS X State of the Union, Session 106 - Taking Advantage of Leopard Features in Cocoa and Session 500 - IT State of the Union (from 1h to 1h30 !) Slides are also available, as PDF documents on some technologies. | | Comments | In fact it seems the streams are down (or there is too much people). I had to click on the button labeled "Get Tracks" to download them (250 to 500 Mo each, but very fast). It's like the iTunes add, flying around building of music jackets, altering the elements, rotating, zooming, etc. Vista Flip Windows or even Linux XGL are a shame compared with what Core Animation can do. And more, it is animation agnostic, that is animation automatically happens when a state modification happens on elements (rename --> elements are automatically sorted and moved to do so, state change like opacity --> an animation fade in or out automatically takes place).
