| Macosrumors reported that the next iphone firmware update (1.2, expected next January) may boost performances, by increasing CPU clock frequency from 412 Mhz to 533 Mhz (103 to 117 Mhz for memory, the processor being conceived initially to operate at 667/133Mhz). An OSX kernel optimization will in fact allow this evolution, without compromising battery life nor causing increased hot. |
