| Cuk.ch provides a deep analysis of Time Machine, and explains why it is really revolutionnary. Apple succeeded to resolve well known very hard problematics. This article is derived from a very detailed presentation (4 pages) of Time Machine, provided by Apple Insider. We indeed remember Microsoft problems with WinFS (also database based filesystem), that had to be removed from Vista, that is such features are complex. We can read a thesis about an equivalent principle as Time Machine, even in a UI point of view (Time Machine navigation through timeline is however far more advanced). |
