| Details about new Motif XF are available. The rom is now 741 Mb, and a new module (VCM - Virtual Circuitry Modeling) manages vintage effects (among those a new vocoder). Up to 2 Gb additionnal samples can be loaded from Flash memory (adding/writing of external samples to this memory is very slow, however once copied they are accessed immediately by the audio engine). Additional sound libraries will remain compatible with Motif XS. Audio demos are provided (however they aren't convincing - not better than a base XV5050 without Complete Orchestra/Super Strings cards nor Complete Piano). |
