| 16-03-08 / 18:30 : Youtube : better quality (cjed) | | Youtube now streams some videos at a higher quality (providing that they were originally uploaded at a better resolution than the final 320*200 reencoding). The filesize is limited to 1Gb (and 10 minutes for the duration), at up to 480*360 H264 video with AAC audio. The 10mn duration limit (probably set to reduce the illegal full length movies share, that now requires to upload and watch movies in dozens of parts) makes the new 1Gb size useless, as a 10mn video at high settings will never weight more than 100Mb.
