19-03-08 / 22:58 : iPhone SDK : no CoreMidi / i3L (cjed) | The iPhone SDK gives access to CoreAudio but not to CoreMidi, what prevents developing a portable Midi sequencer. The framework i3L allows to send messages from an iPhone to a receiver application on another mac through internet UDP protocole (that is through WiFi then). We can watch a video here. It would be better to plug an USB Midi interface on the iPhone USB port, but besides requiring CoreMidi, the iPhone wouldn't probably feed enough power (no power supply for example in the Fastlane USB interface). | | Comments | Write a comment | |
