(cjed) | In the TV game Attention à la marche at TF1 channel (France) we can listen to (while the ask jingle) a jam type sound that reminds a lot a jam sequence from the D-50 (a jam is a short samples sequence, there are about ten in the D-50 PCM memory, from position 90 to 100. There is also even greater jams in the D-20, used in the famous patchs OneNoteJam and IronWorks).
As the D-50 samples are caracteristic (and have a strong aliasing) it shouldn't be a wave sequence from the Wavestation (copied years later the Roland idea - with very similar jams but less warm sounding) nor a brand new sequence created from scratch. | | | Comments | | Write a comment | |
