 Aladin (well, the company name or owner isn't that anymore) released Stuffit Deluxe 11, universal binary, that could allow to save 30% space on JPEG images. The standard version isn't free now, only Stuffit Expander remains free (manages 256 bits encoded zip archives). |

 Macgeneration reported the availibility of a new spreadsheet application for MacOSX : Tables (shareware, 39 euros) has a nice interface and looks very intuitive. Moreover it allows calculations and even advanced graphics rendering (PDF, etc.). |
