| Apple launched iTunes Plus (combined with iTunes 7.2), a revision of the store music catalog with better encoding and finally without DRMs (EMI titles only for now). Songs price is 1,29$. That was announced in fact two months ago but now full catalog transition is near complete. A new heading on the iTMS, iTunes U, is dedicated to educational content (videos, audiobooks) provided by US universities. Apple stock reached 118$... |

| Last news from macosrumors state that new Mac Book Pro and Mac Book Pro Thin will indeed be presented late June, as new Mac Pro (with Radeon HD 2900XT option) and the iphone. The new 6G ipods are expected sooner, in the next weeks. Finally more updates to Tiger are planned up to Leopard release (likely at Apple Expo, as the October date was volontary large). |

| Macnn reported that Apple laptop retail sales count for 10 percent among laptop sales from all PC vendors, and that desktop sales count for close to 8 percent. AppleStore sales are not included, as Dell's sales as they only sell for now through internet. So real numbers are somewhat different. Meanwhile Apple stock is close to 110$ and could go higher for a long time, as iphone will be available in a month, 6G ipods are expected in few weeks and will be fitted with the same touchscreen and also include OSX, and finally Leopard secret features will be disclosed in exactly one month (full Beta). |

| Macnn reported that Apple filled a patent about use of two touchscreen surfaces on ipods and iphones (one in front and one in the back) to allow smaller devices without risks of wrong selection. So the back touchscreen presents controls that could interfer with front controls, or can provide a virtual keyboard. |

 The site now uses the great PHP framework Gallery 2 to manage photos libraries : upload through multiple systems, auto thumbnails generation, editing, comments and notation system, slideshows, themes, modules. The installation procedure (very easy thanks to a stunning wizard) had however to be tuned to work on Free server (see this blog). Old photos will be added soon. |
