SC Strider is made around a bass and cello part inspirated from some notes of the game of the same name... and the chords progression (original) is balanced with two violins sections counterpoint (coming from an old unreleased theme from the library). The choirs (SC) are made of two sections of alto/soprano/bass and do no not use Wordbuilder :

Thanks to Macgeneration we learn the avaibility of an original product, the iTTUSB-05, a semi automatic (with automatic return) turntable that provides USB... allowing to be recognized as an audio input in OSX (and MacOS9). This model is classical type, but there was yet another model, DJ type (arg...), the iTTUSB. At 179 euros that could be interesting if the audio quality is present, to listen back to classical pieces, jazz or old JMJ concert !
We can find a comprehensive review through the Cobra site. But be aware that an old good turntable and a good audio card allow the same...s

This is a rather fashionable topic, propably too simplified, but at least it might make more and more people aware of the problem. Even though I use only public transports, my footprint is equal to 2 planets Earth !

Aspyr just published a presentation page of Sims 2 Pets live, expected this november on OSX. This expansion allows to add breeds and even to personally design them. And the good news is that the minimum requirements are not high (1,2 Ghz processor, Radeon 9000 compatible, 32 Mo VRAM only required).

NI announced GUITAR RIG 2 Software Edition, a version of Guitar Rig 2 (amp sim effects) without the hardware foot controller. It is expected next november, as Audio Unit, RTAS and VST plugin. It will then be targeted to expanders or samples libraries guitar sounds, or to guitarists who ever have an audio card and that don't care about the pedal controller. This version (349$) will include new features from Guitar Rig 2.2 (new components, universal binary software), that is expected this month.

The site now provides a search field for searching in news. Of full text type (fulltext index on the Mysql table) it searchs for the criterias in title and article text content (in the two languages), that are automatically indexed. The search uses the boolean method, that allows fine grained search rules (see the doc for syntax). However the decoding (URLDecode) of criterias parameters doesn't return the minus and plus signs passed in the request, so the search is for now limited to a simple multi-criteria search. Results are ordered by decreasing relevance.s
