| The site has been updated to version 3.0 : white background, compatible font, easier separation between news, easier distinction between last news and last comments (are not tied), exploded menus (are now simplier and not redondant with buttons), new button that leads to Studio page (the search/filter option has been moved to the Songs page). Only differences of gamma (2,2 on PC, 1,8 on Mac so brighter) can bring inconsistances between the two systems (less apparent since white background). |

 Macnn reported the release of a new book about the underlying of MacOSX, MacOSX Internals, written by Amit Singh (see his blog, full of rare informations). Aspects covered are : the firmware, the bootloader, the Mach and BSD kernel components (including the process, virtual memory, IPC, and file system layers), the object-oriented I/O Kit driver framework, user libraries, Intel macs. It seems better understandable as Apple documentations, as it shows how all these elements fit together to make OSX.Moreover critics are great. |

| So as to resolve CPU load and Mysql resources problems, Free now limits the number of connections allocated per personnal website. The site ever used a single connection, however in the case of authentication, another was created (made in the left pane). Now the connection is closed explicitely, even if it shouldn't be required as PHP is aimed at deallocating resources after page end. However it seems to have resolved the problems, and the rendering time is now constant (and acceptable when Free servers load isn't too high). |
