We had Lugaru, Darwinia. Now we will count on N-Ball, a precision game between Marble Madness (but in 2D view) and Tron (for the graphic ambiance). The animation concept is incredible. In someway it reminds me the great shareware Gish. It is here (Mac and Windows demo).s

04-10-06 / 11:43 PM : Tanks games (cjed)
Since mactels and Universal Binary ports, there is again a lot of activity in the sharewares world. We noticed two new tank combat games : OSX TankFighters 1.0.7 (we ever had OSX SkyFighters...), a simple and fun game, that can be played by up to 8 players through internet. Then, a huge demo (400 Mo) of DropTeam 1.0b1, a futurist armored ground combat game, with a complex 3D engine (up to 16 players via internet). We can see stunning videos and screenshots.

04-01-06 / 12:32 PM : Crysis : realistic CryEngine 2 (cjed)
The site NoFrag presents Crysis, next game from Crytek, the creators of the famous PC game FarCry. They made available a video of the CryEngine 2, the new 3D engine developed for the game (mpeg4 H264 video, there is also a 720p format one). It reaches perfect realism, that widen the gap with recent engines (HL2, Doom3, UnrealEngine 3). Some screenshots are also available.
Editor says Crysis isn't the sequel to FarCry, and that it will be out early 2007, as it requires DirectX 10, then Windows Vista (delayed).
