02-24-11 / 12:42 AM : Impossible Mission for Oric/Oriculator (cjed)
A developer from defence-force.org site provides an Oric Atmos version of Impossible Mission game (inspired from C64 version). We can download it here and watch a video. Its sequel (Impossible Mission II) was an addicting game (also frustrating) on Atari ST.
We can also find an Oric version of Stormlord, and finally Space:1999.

A recent Oric emulator, Oriculator, is available for MacOSX.

02-06-11 / 07:19 PM : Aleph One soon on iPad ? (cjed)
An iPad version (and probably iPhone version later) of Aleph One has been announced. However it could be refused by Apple as the levels have to be dowbloaded from the application, and the code license stated by Bungie is GPL, that is not compatible with AppStore's rules.

Meanwhile we can find some full conversions (composed of many levels, new textures, etc.) for the mac version : Phoenix, Apotheosis, Eternal (older), or single levels as Snow frog.

02-06-11 / 07:01 PM : Sarien.net full story (cjed)
Sarien.net site, that provided HTML5 versions of Sierra games, and that had to close recently following Activision's cease and desist letter (since they were aware that the conversion's author was preparing iPad/touch targeted versions), did finally reach some agreements as stated on the site's full story : it will be allowed to provide the first episode of each series. A link to later episodes (listed on Steam) will be added.

02-06-11 / 04:27 PM : Amiga recorded games/Univers (cjed)
At Youtube we can discover a full (longplay) video of Universe adventure game (Amiga version - we learn from comments that there were also a PC version, however with less good music), that reminds Sierra games (with better graphics at least) and/or Beneath a Steel Sky.

We can also find longplay videos of most of Amiga games at recordedamigagames (among these Bionic Commando, whose music was better on Atari on some levels), and musics (seem to be midifiles).

02-06-11 / 03:53 PM : Speedball 2: Evolution announced for iPhone (cjed)
Tower Studios and Vivid Games, in association with The Bitmap Brothers, announced Speedball 2: Evolution for iPhone. We can watch a video here (seems less good than original two games on Atari and Amiga).
